Photoluminescent Glowway Products lead people to safety in emergency situations by glowing brightly in darkness. Our products are designed to be used on the floor level since according to studies low-location-markings decrease significantly the evacuation time in emergency situations when the lights go out.
Our products do not require electricity and the luminositye will last over 25 years without decreasing significantly. The product is environmentally friendly and cost-effective compared to e.g. led-powered systems. Glowway Products do not require any maintenance except for normal cleaning. Our glass products are durable, easy to keep clean and sit well in different architectural surroundings. Also, they do not wear off like photoluminescent tapes even in heavy usage. |
We use only high-quality pigments and our products exceed the ISO, DIN and ASTM luminosity requirements for safety products. The glow is easily seen in total darkness even after eight hours.
We focus heavily on accessibility and we've designed specific tactile guiding systems for the visually impaired. According to tests made by The Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired (FFVI), our products greatly help the visually impaired in navigating in public buildings. Our products have been installed e.g. in metro and train stations, hospitals, shopping malls and residential buildings. In general, our products can be used in all locations where quick and efficient exit is required in emergency situations. |
